Rules

• PLAY YOUR MATCHES ON THE WEEKS THEY ARE SCHEDULED!! The website has all the phone numbers and email address that you need. We also provide all members with a PDF file that has this same data. Look up your weekly opponent and contact him or her.  Then set up a mutually agreeable time to play. Don't be a bum and wait for your opponent to contact you. Go out and play.
  
• If you can't play your match during your scheduled week you have TWO weeks (14 days) to make up your match. You will need to contact your opponent and the commissioner indicating you are unable to play.  It is critical to the functioning of the league that you keep everyone informed of your availability.
  
• Here is what you do:
  
  • If you can't play your match on your scheduled week you must contact me and your playing partner no later than Friday noon of the week you are scheduled to play. Once you have left a voice mail or e-mail you have two weeks to make up your match.
    
  • If your match is not made up in two weeks or you do not send me and your partner an email before noon on Friday, an automatic forfeit will be given to the person who could not make it to the match. For power ranking purposes your forfeit will be scored as a 6-0, 6-0 defeat!!
    
  • Forfeits will be strictly enforced so that the league continues to move ahead. We don't want to be bogged down by makeup matches. If you can't make up a match let it go. It's not that big of a deal.  Keep in mind that bye weeks are great time to make-up matches.
    
  • Please take note that if you have 2 or more forfeits during the season you will be removed from the league. It's plain and simple and it will be enforced. If you don’t have the time to make up your matches then you’re probably to busy to be in the league.
    
  • Posting your scores: The winner of your match is required to input his or her score into the ABTL website. A password will be given to every league member so that you can log onto the website and post your match score. • The ABTL offers you 13 scheduled matches, detailed match statistics, weekly power rankings, postseason tournament and a tournament finals party. Plus at the party we give out a number of prizes and awards from local sponsors.
  
• Please pay close attention to the week you are assigned to bring a NEW can of balls. On the web you will see a yellow ball next to your name. That is the marker that tells you it's your turn to bring balls. I try and make it as fair as possible so that everyone brings balls an equal amount of times. For the season ending ABTL tournament all players bring a can of balls and the winner of the match takes the unopened can.
  
• The ABTL Show:  Be ready for our biweekly smack talk podcast show.  In it we will be giving out updates on matches played and marquee match ups for the following weeks, plus a whole lot more. The show will be in mp3 format and can be downloaded by clicking on the ABTL Show on the top menu bar.
